The PhoneAire is a "line of sight" communication device. This revolutionary new phone system will redefine the way residential telephone systems are thought of. Simply install one unit at the gate and a receiver on the house by the phone box. That's it. you're done! No long distance wire runs needed. Just like the PhoneLink system, the AAS PhoneAire system will be 100% solar compatible. That way, there is no need to run any wires between the house and the gate. Simple, efficient and dependable. American access system offers the PhoneAire which is a fully digital, wireless telephone entry system. The transmitter is constructed using a heavy gauge, powder coated enclosure and stainless steel faceplate that mounts directly to a pedestal or can be surface mounted. The PhoneAire's receiver is mounted in a standard rain-tight enclosure with a baked enamel finish and mounts directly to the side of the home or main building. The PhoneAire allows the user to conveniently screen entrants from the home or office using AAS - Push To Talk communication. When a guest presses the call button a unique ring cadence alerts someone that a guest is present at the gate. Communication is made from any phone on that line and access is granted by pressing the ** on the telephone's keypad. The gate can also be opened from inside the building without someone present at the gate. This system features call forwarding, call waiting, "one-shot" code, sleep mode, full programming capability from the interior telephone, a manual override providing phone switching in the event of damage to the telephone entry unit. For pre-authorized entry, a fully programmable 500 code keypad is provided. The PhoneAire telephone entry is a "No Phone Line" telephone entry system, allowing you to use your existing telephone line without creating an addition to the phone bill.
