    Installation Instructions

  • 12 VDC 470mA
  • Connect Red and Black wires together and attach to one terminal. Connect Green and White wires together and connect to second terminal.

  • 24 VDC 235mA
  • Connect Green and Black wire together. Connect Red wire to one terminal. Connect White wire to second terminal.

    The 1200 lb. G Lock is designed to secure any type of door or gate that closes against a fixed stop. The G Lock consists of an electromagnet which mounts on the fixed frame and a strike plate which mounts on the moving door or gate. The strike plate is delivered with fasteners that allow it to flex so that when the door closes, it automatically self aligns with the magnet. Magnetic force then takes over. Release is achieved by switching off power to the magnet. Magnetic locks are rated by how many pounds force it will take to disconnect the magnet from its strike plate. When used with a gate operator, power is normally provided by the operator battery. When used with a door, an external power source will have to be provided. Power requirements are 12/24 VDC.
