Garage door opener receivers

These receivers are the heart and soul of the garage door opener motors, other than the circuit board or logic board. Many garage door openers have a secondary receiver attached to them. To avoid confusion look and see if there is receiver attached to the garage door motor overhead. Usually there is a wire that is hanging down from the motor. It is attached to the logic board or a secondary receiver. This will help you to tell what type of receiver you need as a replacement.
